My name is Jason Vaughn — founder of CreativePublic.com. I have 19 years experience in the graphic design industry including print, TV, animation, Internet and even restaurant design and construction. Throughout the years, I have had my own graphic design firm, owned a restaurant, and had several shares in an Internet startup, as well as many other business opportunities.

As years went by, I eventually learned the best ways around this industry and have created a successful freelance business called Art Space and another online business called Silk Flower Design, that my wife and I operate together.

I developed CreativePublic.com to show designers what to do and what not to do in the graphic design business world. This site was also created to give graphic designers resources for starting their own business or expanding into a freelance role, without having to go through the headaches that I did.

Throughout the years, many people have come to me, asking me how I got started and what it took to get going in business. Well, this site is dedicated to just that. For a low membership fee, you can get full access to: forms, contracts, pricing guides and more.
